Q: How do I join a Zoom meeting once I have purchased a class?
A: You will receive a confirmation email in your email inbox which will include a blue highlighted and underlined link that says "Join Meeting" in blue writing. You will need to download the free "Zoom" application before the meeting. Here is a link for instructions to download zoom. At the date and time of the meeting you will go to your email inbox, locate the email, and click on the blue link. A new tab small will launch that asks "Do you want to allow this page to open "zoom.us"? Click "Allow," and your meeting will be launched in a new separate window. You will see a small screen that prompts you to click a button that says "Join with computer audio." Click "Join with computer audio," and you are now in the meeting. You can click the bottom left "video camera" icon if you choose to start video, and then enjoy a great workout!
Q: Do I need equipment to take class?
A: You need a computer/laptop/ipad/tablet but no, you do not need any equipment. You can benefit from doing every exercise in class using body weight and different modifications. However it is recommended to use equipment because it will give you more benefits. Household objects can also be used/modified/substituted in place of equipment. Here is a list of equipment that is recommended for use in class including a list of substitution materials. Examples include resistance bands, low weight dumbbells etc. Click below to view the "Equipment" page.
Q: Do I need to have my personal camera that shows me "on" my computer/laptop/ipad/tablet during class?
A: No! You can choose to have your personal camera that shows you in the meeting on or off! If the camera is "off" the teacher and other members of the class will see a black screen that states your name on it, and not you. When you click the "Join Meeting" link from your email, you will see a prompt that asks you to "Join with computer audio." Click "Join with computer audio." Once you join the meeting, there is an icon of a "video camera" second to the left located in the bottom left corner of your meeting screen. Click the video camera icon that says "Start Video"If you feel comfortable and confident and show off your strength, balance, and mobility to inspire others around you!
Q: How long before the class do I have for a free cancellation?
A: The Cancellation Policy allows you to cancel for a full refund up to 1 hour before class. You are allowed to reschedule your class up to 1 hour before class.
Q: What level of fitness do I need to be to take this class?
A: Any age is welcome! Rand Strong classes are low impact with emphases on modifications to allow inclusivity to all age ranges and any level of fitness!
Q: How long from when I purchase a class pack do I have to use them until they expire?
A: All class packs, including the 4 class pack, 4 class pack recurring, 8 class pack, and 8 class pack recurring pack have one month since the date of purchase to redeem the classes.
